Before coming on this trip, I could only think about it passively. I had no clue what to expect; with the city, the people, or the program itself. I certainly didn’t expect it to be as incredible as it is. I have been given the chance to expand my horizons in a way I will never be able to do again. This quaint and beautiful place looks like a page from a fairytale, although it would not feel like one without the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had. I have formed new friendships with people that I never would have had the opportunity to know otherwise. I have pushed myself outside my comfort zone in order to sharpen skills that will be pertinent to my future career. Overall, this program has been the trip of a lifetime and something I will not soon forget.
