The shop is located near the bus station which gets the store a lot of attention as people enter the city.Donato Colombo sells handmade leather products like colorful bracelets, earrings, and rings.” I orginally came to Urbino to learn about ancient music but people loved my handmade sandals I would wear, so I decided to rent out this shop and stay in Urbino” Danato Colombo said.Dontato Colombo grew up in Milan where he learned how to makes his tuscan leather sandals. With limited space in the shop, Donato Colombo keeps his tools simple and minimal.Donato Colombo has an open shop that allows his customers to watch him physcially make his products and see the process. ” My future project is to teach others the leather craft” he said.Donato Colombo works to sell high quality products that last for 10 years and are safe for the enviorment. The sandal only takes about an hour to make but last a decade.Donato Colombo sells his handmade purses that are made from the tuscan leather and woven by hand in his store.Donato Colombo is passionate about his work and his love for the leather craft keeps his shop well known in Urbino where he remains the only leather shop in town.
